Is FaceDojo only for jiu jitsu academies?
No. Schools teaching judo, muay thai, boxing and karate can use the same class-photo workflow. If your school teaches several disciplines, FaceDojo asks you to select the one practiced in that class.
Does facial recognition work with gis, belts and sweaty students?
Yes. Recognition is by face; the gi and belt do not matter. Take the photo with good light and visible faces, and record attendance manually for anyone cut off or turned sideways.
Do I need to replace our WhatsApp groups?
No. You do not need to create or replace any group. Send the class photo to FaceDojo on WhatsApp from an authorized number. Your academy’s groups stay as they are.
Can it handle recurring billing for a BJJ gym?
Yes. Memberships are charged automatically on the agreed date, and you see who is current, who is late and which accounts need attention, without a separate admin system.
How do students get registered?
You share a link in the class group. Each student signs up on their own phone with their name and a photo of their face. You do not type anything.
